Hinkle Metals and Supply, an HVAC wholesale distributor, is seeking a motivated Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate with strong customer service skills. This role involves unloading shipments, picking and packing orders, organizing the warehouse, and delivering products to local customers using light-duty or box trucks.
Responsibilities
- Unload incoming shipments efficiently and safely
- Pick and pack orders accurately for customer deliveries
- Drive light-duty or box trucks to deliver products locally
- Provide excellent customer service upon delivery
- Manage inventory and maintain warehouse organization
- Navigate delivery routes effectively
- Manage time to ensure timely deliveries
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in delivery driving and warehouse operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills
- Forklift operation experience
- Inventory management knowledge
- Ability to navigate routes proficiently
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Attention to detail
