As a Pastry Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the pastry kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and creativity in pastry production. You’ll have the opportunity to create delightful pastries for conferences and events, showcasing your culinary skills while contributing to the sweets and treats offered at our local market coffee shop. You will also participate in live action stations for guests, allowing them to experience the joy of freshly prepared pastries right after their eyes. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to join the team in creating the annual gingerbread replica of the resort, adding to the holiday spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pastry Preparation: Prepare a variety of pastries and desserts, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Collaborate with Team: Work alongside the pastry team to create innovative and visually appealing desserts for events and our coffee shop.
- Quality Control: Monitor the freshness of ingredients and conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards.
- Health Compliance: Follow proper food storage, labeling, and health regulations to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
- Daily Operations: Assist in kitchen setup, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness for efficient service.
