Position Summary:

The Universal Banker serves as a key member of the branch team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while performing a wide range of banking transactions and services. This role combines the responsibilities of a teller and personal banker, including processing transactions, opening and servicing accounts, and providing product recommendations to help customers meet their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Great customers and provide prompt, courteous, and professional service
• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers
• Open, maintain, and close checking, savings, CD, and other deposit accounts
• Assist customers with digital banking tools (online banking, mobile app, ATM usage)
• Educate and advise customers on bank products and services that best meet their needs
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and refer customers to appropriate internal partners
• Maintain compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures
• Balance cash drawer and perform end-of-day balancing procedures
• Assist with vault operations and cash ordering as needed
• Support branch operations and contribute to individual and team goals
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree in business or finance preferred
• 1+ years of experience in banking, retail, or customer service preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Basic knowledge of banking products and financial services
• Proficiency with computers and standard office software
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technology

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, Monday–Thursday, 8:30a.m. – 4:30p.m., Friday, 8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m.
• Requires standing for extended periods and handling cash transactions
• Professional attire required
