Civil Engineer
Job Description
Under the guidance of the Regional Project Manager, the Civil Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, implementation, and analysis of civil engineering solutions. Our projects predominantly focus on municipal, county, state, and federal infrastructure programs, with a strong emphasis on hydrology, hydraulics, and coastal design. The successful candidate will conduct engineering evaluations, design, and cost estimation related to awarded projects.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in the design and implementation of civil engineering projects.
+ Conduct engineering evaluations and perform design and cost estimation.
+ Focus on hydrology, hydraulics, and coastal design disciplines.
+ Engage in stormwater, drainage, and land development projects.
+ Prepare technical reports and progress reports as directed.
+ Collaborate with a team of engineers and support staff.
+ Attend meetings with staff, clients, contractors, and vendors.
+ Support the preparation of permit applications and documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
+ 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field.
+ Fundamental skills in coastal design, stormwater, and drainage systems.
+ Understanding of water supply distribution systems.
+ Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain Florida licensure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365.
+ Experience with federal work and Army Corps of Engineers projects.
+ Strong networking and client relationship-building skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
