Assistant Food & Beverage Director Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team in high-pressure situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with staff, guests, and other departments
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control
- A guest-service orientation focused on delivering exceptional experiences
- Up-to-date knowledge of food and beverage trends, best practices, and relevant local and federal regulations
- 2+ years of experience in a management role within the food and beverage department of a hotel or luxury hospitality environment
Assistant Food & Beverage Director Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in upscale dining or full-service hotel settings
- Familiarity with both a la carte and banquet operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Passion for creating memorable guest experiences
- Additional certifications related to food safety or hospitality management
