Premier Payroll and TTPA are seeking a full-time, remote Payroll Administrator to join our quickly growing team. The person in this position will be responsible for managing and overseeing payroll operations for all of our clients, and their duties will include:
• Ensures the on-time payment of each client’s employees
• Records and verifies regular deductions from employees’ paychecks, such as health insurance, retirement plans, garnishments, etc.
• Manages clients’ timekeeping systems, where applicable
• Tracks employee information for each client and makes necessary adjustments related to changes in employee status
• Monitors and maintains compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
• Assists in the filing of quarterly tax and other necessary returns as well as the creation and distribution of employee W-2s
• Other related duties The requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or similar
• Significant experience as a payroll administrator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software
• Strong, professional communication and organizational skills as well as attention to detail
• Experience with ADP (strongly preferred)
