**Job Description** **The Role** GM's Infrastructure Engineering organization seeks a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the strategy, planning, reporting, and execution of Infrastructure Engineering programs across multiple teams. In this role, you will play a critical leadership role supporting a diverse set of Infrastructure Engineering teams, including Infrastructure Platforms, Developer Platforms, Vehicle Services Infrastructure, Global Networks, Software Delivery, and Software Quality. This position is responsible for driving roadmap planning and execution across multiple teams, ensuring that engineering initiatives are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of cloud and on-prem infrastructure, excels in program management at scale, and is passionate about building robust, scalable infrastructure systems. We are seeking a TPM who demonstrates strength in three key areas: + **Technical Expertise:** Possessesbroad software engineering knowledge with deep experiencein infrastructure automation, internal developer platforms, cloud architectures, or similar infrastructure engineering fields. + **Program Management:** Has hands-on experience directing cross-functional, highly technical programswhile tracking and reporting on progress, resourcing requirements,and risks + **Communication:** Can clearly convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, building trust and ensuring understanding among stakeholders **What** **Y** **ou'll** **Do** + Leadandoptimizeplanning cycles for the Infrastructure Engineering organization, including H1/H2 and quarterly strategic and operational planning + Coordinateand driveprogramexecution reviews, providing transparent progress reporting to leadership and stakeholders + Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and program teams to align roadmaps and resolve dependencies + Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional leads to define program scope,objectives, key milestones, deliverables, and measurable success metrics for ongoing and future engineering initiatives + Proactively manage risks and drive the development of clear communication frameworks to ensure alignment, transparency, and stakeholder engagement throughout the program lifecycle **Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)​​**   + 8+ years of experience in software engineering organizations + Several years of experience as a TPM or in a comparable role, witha track recordof delivering complex, cross-functional infrastructure programs end-to-end + Experience leading structured planning cycles (e.g., quarterly, H1/H2) and operating reviews in a large engineering organization + Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly toambiguous and/orchanging priorities + Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority and build trust across diverse teams + Deep understanding of modern software development practices, toolchains, and developer workflows + Strong technicalskills,including the ability to discuss system architectures, evaluate tradeoffs, and engage deeply with engineers on technical topics. **What Will Give You** **A** **Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)​**   + Extensive hands-on experienceas asoftware engineerorcomparable technicalrole, with a strong focus on infrastructure-related areas _Compensation_ : The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws.
