ICU RN Job Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of recent ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / critical care experience
• License: Active Alabama RN license or compact/multistate RN license with a clean NURSYS record
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Proven experience caring for ventilated patients and managing/titrating vasoactive drips
• EMR: Cerner experience preferred
• Must reside 50+ miles from the worksite (travel nursing eligibility requirement)

Responsibilities (Critical Care Nursing)

• Provide safe, evidence-based ICU nursing care to critically ill patients on night shift
• Complete comprehensive assessments, continuous monitoring, and rapid intervention for changes in patient condition
• Manage ventilators, titrate vasoactive infusions per protocol, and support hemodynamic stability
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to execute individualized care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and on time in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Communicate clearly and provide compassionate support to patients and families
