Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Gardendale, AL
Shift: Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Position Type: Contract (10 Weeks)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care during night shifts, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and support the nursing team in delivering safe and effective healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, and report changes promptly
- Assist residents with daily care activities and support individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and electronic medical records
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards, patient safety guidelines, and facility policies
- Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
