This full-time Physical Therapist role supports K-12 students across multiple school sites within a district setting. The position is based in Pinson, AL, and offers a structured workweek aligned with the school calendar and hours, running from August 6th through November 13th.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, ensuring individualized care plans that support developmental and educational goals.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school-based professionals to integrate therapy objectives within the academic environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and assist with assessments and care coordination.
• Travel to multiple district sites as required to deliver services across the school system.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist with experience or specialization in school-based therapy.
• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles, including interventions suitable for school-aged children.
• Ability to manage time effectively and provide services across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Work Schedule and Location:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Typical school hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Position located in the Pinson, AL area.
• Contract period from August 6th to November 13th, coinciding with the school term.
