Our facility in Huntsville, AL has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our mission. In this role, you will support the NGI program with the following: Coordinates IMS planning, task organization, change control, integration, and completion of engineering and production projects within the AUR IPT focusing on MGSE. Coordinates activities concerned with MGSE technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience in project planning and technical management.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Ability to create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Technical understanding of mechanical engineering processes and products including requirements development, design, test, and validation.
Demonstrated discipline in executing multi-functional projects with competing constraints.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
