Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Hold an active Alabama SLP License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous school-based experience or strong interest in working in educational settings
• Familiarity with IEP processes and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
• Deliver therapy services in group and one-on-one settings, tracking measurable outcomes
• Write and maintain timely, thorough progress notes and documentation as required by school policies
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student success
