Receptionist - BTC
Receptionist – Birmingham Training Center
Job Summary:
NHS Management, LLC is hiring a professional and welcoming Receptionist for our Birmingham Training Center (BTC). This position is the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors attending trainings and meetings. The Receptionist will manage front desk operations, answer and route incoming calls, greet guests, and provide administrative support to the training center and corporate team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist employees, trainees, vendors, and visitors
- Answer and route incoming calls professionally
- Direct visitors to classrooms, offices, and departments
- Manage daily sign-in logs for trainees, consultants, and visitors
- Order lunch and assist with setup for large meetings and trainings
- Order and maintain office and BTC supplies
- Keep kitchen and common areas stocked and organized
- Ensure copy machines are stocked with paper and basic supplies
- Process and log UPS packages; print shipping labels
- Assist with name badges and training materials
- Update internal systems and directories as needed
- Provide general front desk and administrative support
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior receptionist or front desk experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment (multi-line phone, copier, printer)
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced training environment
- Dependable with reliable attendance
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods; occasional standing and walking
Compliance:
Must comply with all company policies, HIPAA/privacy standards, and regulatory requirements.
