Description:

The Systems Engineer will support MDA CAD (System Architecture Trades) in Huntsville, AL. Duties may include (but are not limited to):

• Trade study execution and coordination.
• Analysis focused on cost, schedule and performance to develop courses of action and make recommendation based on results.
• Presentations of results and supporting data.
• Acting on customer's behalf in briefs and reviews involving architecture design efforts.
• Supporting customer's efforts to define and develop standard operating procedures in support of architecture solutions to Missile Defense capability gaps.
• Coordinating with government and research teams on trade studies and results through working groups.
• Documenting findings, including Ground Rules & Assumptions, of trade study efforts.
• Providing weekly input to customer in reports and charts documenting task status, action item tracking, capturing risks and estimating schedule progress toward completion.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Must have a BS in an Engineering or STEM field, with 3+ years of experience.
• MDA or DoD experience.
• Proficiency with MATLAB.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of CAMEO and/or Benchmark modeling systems or other MBSE software.
