Job Title: Advanced Security Technician

Location : Huntsville, AL

Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking a Security Technician to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security/access control equipment. MUST be comfortable working from a lift.

Job Responsibilities of a Security Technician:

• Pulling and routing CAT5, CAT6, and Fiber cable in a new construction and existing structure commercial environment
• Installing & Service Access Control and CCTV equipment
• Must be comfortable working from scissor/boom lifts if required
• Pulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 2+ years’ experience installing and servicing voice and data security systems in a commercial environment.
• Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver license.
