As a **Security Officer - Access Control Specialist** in **Florence, KY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will provide exceptional customer service while interacting with guests and team members. **What You'll Do:**
+ Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits at the location, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management processes.
+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, guests, and staff with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
+ Collaborate with site management and local law enforcement as directed during emergency response situations.
+ Follow all site-specific procedures and Allied Universal security-related policies to address access concerns and maintain a secure environment for staff, guests, and visitors.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
