Operations Manager
Position Overview:
The Operations Manager oversees daily clinic operations with a focus on medication management, billing support, and staff coordination. This role ensures efficient workflow, accurate inventory control, and seamless communication between physicians, medical assistants, and administrative teams. The Operations Manager will also support sister locations as needed, requiring occasional travel locally.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and review medication orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely availability for patient care.
Oversee medication inventory, including monitoring stock levels, reconciling discrepancies
Obtain and verify billing information, ensuring documentation is accurate and aligned with payer requirements.
Prep and organize medications for physician and medical assistant use in clinic.
Serve as a liaison between physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and internal policies.
Monitor workflow efficiency and implement improvements where necessary.
Provide operational support and oversight at sister clinic locations, requiring occasional travel.
Assist with onboarding, training, and support of clinical staff related to operational procedures.
Generate reports on medication usage, billing activity, and operational performance as required by leadership.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, medical office management, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of medication inventory processes and billing procedures.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, medical assistants, and support staff.
Proficiency in medical office software, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to travel occasionally to sister locations.
Work Environment:
Clinical setting with interaction between patients, physicians, and medical staff.
Requires balancing administrative responsibilities with direct operational support in the clinic.
