Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide essential psychological services as a School Psychologist to students in grades K-12 in a contract role based in Theodore, AL. This on-site position involves working within a school district that serves a diverse student population. The role may include itinerant responsibilities, supporting multiple schools as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active School Psychology license for Alabama (AL) is required.
• Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
• Strong knowledge of psychological evaluation tools and intervention strategies.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location:

• Theodore, Alabama (on-site)
• May involve travel to multiple schools within the district.

Contract Details:

• Contract period: March 23, 2025 May 29, 2026
• Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours per week
• Position is contingent on school board contract approval expected by the end of March 2025.
