Desired Qualifications:
- Current state certification in Special Education or eligibility for certification
- Experience working with children or adolescents with a range of disabilities
- Strong ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
- Adaptability to work with diverse learning styles and maintain a positive classroom environment
Your Role Will Involve:
- Creating and delivering engaging lesson plans customized to students’ abilities
- Modifying instructional methods and materials to accommodate individual needs
- Conducting assessments and tracking students’ academic and behavioral progress
- Consulting with parents, general education teachers, and related service providers
- Maintaining accurate records in accordance with regulatory and school requirements
- Participating in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
