MES Syncade Senior Engineer

The MES Syncade Senior Engineer is responsible for leading the design, implementation, administration, and support of the Emerson Syncade Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role focuses on MES platform administration, recipe authoring, electronic batch records (EBR), system upgrades, and ongoing operational support to ensure compliant, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Syncade platform administration
• MES recipe authoring
• QRM/label/report development
• System enhancements
• UAT coordination
• Change control execution
• Master data management
• Technical guidance and training
• Troubleshooting
• Rotational on‑call support
• Ensure compliance with GMP and FDA regulations

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on expertise in Syncade MES , SQL Server , system integrations (OPC, ODBC, APIs), and manufacturing systems within a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment, combined with the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and support continuous improvement.

Compensation

- $80,000 to $100,000 +/- and this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 5/24/2026
