Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing exceptional instructional support in a Special Education classroom. A contract opportunity is now available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher eager to foster growth and learning for children with diverse needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education teaching certification
- Previous experience working with students in special education settings
- Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles and unique needs
- Passion for helping students reach their highest potential
Primary Duties:
- Plan and deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Create a supportive and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation and independence
- Implement effective strategies to address academic, behavioral, and social goals
- Utilize data-driven methods to assess progress and adjust teaching approaches
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure continuity of support
- Maintain accurate records and IEP documentation in compliance with all educational guidelines
