About the Role

The Company is seeking a Contract Head of Engineering and Delivery to spearhead strategic technology transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs that drive business growth, operational efficiency, and innovation. This role demands a seasoned leader with a minimum of 10 years experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years in agile environments, and a proven track record in managing engineering teams. The Head of Engineering and Delivery will be accountable for developing and executing the technology transformation portfolio, establishing governance frameworks, and serving as the primary contact for senior executives and key stakeholders. Key responsibilities for the Head of Engineering and Delivery include leading the delivery of technology transformation programs, managing relationships with third-party vendors, and leading a diverse team of technical experts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shaping and influencing technology strategy, with a focus on digital, and be proficient in a range of programming languages and tools. Experience in omnichannel and hands-on experience with cloud platforms is essential. The role requires a leader who can define and execute the technical vision for omnichannel and ensure that the delivered solutions meet business needs and expectations. The Head of Engineering and Delivery will also be expected to have significant knowledge of modern technical architecture models, web and cloud technology, DevOps, and software development methodologies.
