Quality Manager
About the role
Responsible for administering the company’s quality program in accordance with the customer and company requirements
Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for external parties regarding matters concerning the quality system.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by the Quality Director.
- Assess and evaluate deficiencies and devise improvements.
- Ensure timely delivery of new products to customers while maintaining product quality.
- Oversee schedules and workflow within the quality department.
- Monitor the quality of work being performed.
- Stay informed about the overall internal and external activities of the Quality Department.
- Identify areas of concern and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- BS/BA in Business, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineer or equivalent experience in Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance or a similar role.
- Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards
- Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability delegate and lead Quality Department.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Passport required for travel to manufacturing plants.
- Experience in Manufacturing/Automotive Plants.
- Experience with Wire Harnesses is preferred.
