Distribution Field Technician

Job Title: Distribution Field Technician Job Description The Distribution Field Technician will work collaboratively with another technician to utilize KATAPULT on-site, taking pictures of poles and sending them to the designer. The designer will communicate with the client to ensure that the pictures accurately capture the necessary data. Responsibilities + Utilize KATAPULT on-site to capture images of power poles. + Communicate effectively with the designer to ensure proper data capture. + Travel weekly around Georgia and surrounding states, including overnight stays. + Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high heat. Essential Skills + Ability to travel extensively during the week and stay overnight. + Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods. + General proficiency with technology tools such as Teams and Outlook. + Knowledge of electric utility operations and power distribution. + Understanding of National Electrical Safety Codes (NESC). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with data collection is advantageous. + Familiarity with joint use, staking, and power poles is beneficial. + Previous experience with Katapult or IKE is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
