Merchandising Manager
Reports to: Sales Manager
Position Objective:
The Merchandising Manager is responsible for ensuring that all Red Bull, beer and other non-alcoholic products are merchandised within assigned accounts according to the company’s account standards.
Description of Physical Tasks:
Keep shelves and Accounts clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case). Pushes/pulls hand truck to machine or shelves and loads appropriate company products. Climbing in and out of vehicle and proper lifting techniques.
Responsibilities Include:
1. In charge of managing and directing, on a daily basis, all merchandising employees of the company.
2. Coordination of Merchandiser hiring process with assistance of Supervisor.
3. Directly responsible for on boarding, training, development, discipline, programs / documentation for merchandising staff.
4. In charge of coordinating with Delivery department all delivery and merchandising of accounts on a daily basis.
5. Managing employees hours, and scheduling of all merchandising employees to ensure all accounts are merchandised in an efficiently and timely manner. This would include:
• UKG Management for direct reports
• Daily routing & sequencing are up to date
• Weekend duty roster current & available to manager on duty
6. Preparing and Analyzing weekly Merchandiser Pronto Form Recap, Identifying Opportunities & train to correct deficiencies.
7. Assisting with the chain department in all beer and non-alcoholic cooler and hot shelf resets.
8. Required to perform 10 Pronto Form Audits each Month within his assigned accounts.
9. Assist in the delivery and setup of cold equipment for non-alcoholic products.
10. Maintain an open and clear communications with all managers and other employees of the company.
11. Keep your vehicle clean and orderly with appropriate POS available.
12. Ensure your vehicle is serviced at regular intervals and repaired when necessary to minimize breakdowns
13. Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
14. Perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures.
15. Properly operate, protect from damage, and return all equipment that has been issued to you (i.e. radios, hand trucks, vehicles, etc.).
16. All other duties as assigned.
