As a Security Specialist within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. **PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position** · 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or information security consulting. · Proven experience working in highly variable environments or across multiple business units. · Strong understanding of security governance, risk assessment methodologies, and common regulatory/compliance frameworks. · Experience with M&A processes and cyber due diligence strongly preferred. · Executive presence and strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence without authority. · Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC) preferred. · Ability to thrive in ambiguity and prioritize in fast-paced environments. · Generalized knowledge across technical security domains including Identity and Access Management, Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Security Monitoring/Detection, and Endpoint management. Experience administrating security tools in at least one of the above domains preferred. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. **Job Description** + Provides technical evaluation and analysis in a specific Security area. Supports activities, process, and tools needed to improve overall security posture of the organization. Primary responsibilities do not include Architect or Engineering responsibilities. + Applies security concepts, reviews information, executes defined tasks, analyzes requirements, reviews logs, and creates documentation. Performs investigation and data loss prevention, data manipulation, and coordination of activities. Performs actions to address or mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. Reviews and defines controls. + Advises on more complex security procedures and products for clients, security administrators and network operations. Participates in enforcement of control security risks and threats; potential of one more controls subject to manager discretion. Shares knowledge with staff. + Conducts security assessments and other information security routines consistently. Investigates and recommends corrective actions for data security related to established guidelines. + Develops policies and procedures to standardize security functions and eliminate potential vulnerabilities and threats. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered. **Education** Bachelors **Certifications** No Required Certification(s) **Licenses** No Required License(s) **Pay Transparency** Base Salary: $65,000.00 - $158,700.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education.
