The Salvation Army Bell Ringer is responsible for collecting monetary donations from the public during the annual Red Kettle Christmas Campaign. This position plays a vital role in supporting The Salvation Army’s social service programs by creating a positive, friendly presence at assigned kettle locations.

CHristmas Kettle Bell Ringer (Seasonal) Details:

• Temporary position
• $9.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Sunday through Saturday from 10:00am to 06:00pm )

Stand or sit at an assigned kettle location for the duration of scheduled shifts (typically 4–8 hours).

Greet passersby with a warm, friendly attitude and encourage donations in a polite, respectful manner.

Ring the bell continuously or at regular intervals to attract attention to the donation kettle.

Represent The Salvation Army in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Ensure the safety and security of the kettle, donations, and equipment.

Report any suspicious activity, theft, or safety concerns immediately to the Kettle Coordinator.

Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts and remain at the assigned location until relieved.

Maintain a clean and orderly appearance; wear provided uniform or identification badge.

CHristmas Kettle Bell Ringer (Seasonal) Qualifications:

Friendly, outgoing and dependable

Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time in various weather conditions

Strong Communication and interpersonal skills

Must be punctual and reliable
