Job Title: Palletizer Job Description

As a Palletizer, you will be responsible for stacking boxes on pallets from the production line and transporting them to the shipping department to ensure finished goods are ready for delivery.

• Stack boxes on pallets accurately and efficiently.
• Transport stacked pallets to the shipping department.
• Consolidate individual units on a pallet for proper storage or immediate transfer.
• Set up and assemble palletizer for production runs.
• Determine and set the number and pattern for each pallet and each order.
• Ensure products are properly stacked on pallets by following designated patterns, minimizing overhang, and ensuring stability.
• Visually inspect shipments for issues such as unsealed, damaged, or stained cases and incorrect or missing code dates.

• Experience in general labor and production environments.
• Familiarity with palletizing techniques and stacking boxes.

• Ability to follow policies and procedures to ensure successful execution of responsibilities.

Work in a manufacturing plant with first and second shifts available. The first shift runs from Monday to Saturday, 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, and the second shift from Monday to Saturday, 2:45 pm to 1:00 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
