We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join a stable and growing organization. This role will support core accounting functions including month-end close, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support payroll processing, including related journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with internal controls
- Support audit requests and provide documentation as required
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with inventory accounting is a plus
- Strong Excel skills, including ability to work with large data sets and perform analysis
- Solid understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and accounting fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Need some exposure to payroll processing
