Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Position Summary
We are hiring a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team. This role is responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong communication with both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Functions

• Complete all accounts receivable tasks in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner
• Review packing slip reports for errors prior to billing
• Review Core Check-In (CCI) documents, resolve overages/shortages, and process related credit memos
• Review lockbox and bank reports by customer, request supporting documentation as needed, and process cash postings
• Run outstanding statements and follow up with customers regarding past-due invoices
• Maintain and update customer account information based on input from customers or sales team
• Respond to and resolve all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Collaboration & Compliance

• Partner with Sales, Pricing, and other internal departments to resolve discrepancies and billing issues
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures within accounts receivable
• Proactively communicate any financial concerns or discrepancies to the Accounts Receivable Manager
• Support internal and external audit requests related to accounts receivable

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation and updates of accounting systems related to accounts receivable
• Maintain a strong understanding of customer programs, including rebates and commissions

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable or accounting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
