Custom Woodworker

Custom Woodworker Job Description: The Henry Hudson Company is seeking an experienced custom cabinetry/furniture maker/architectural woodworker to fill a full-time shop position. The position requires the ability to operate woodworking machinery and hand tools to create unique, custom wood products.

Salary: $17/hr - $28/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week, overtime available

Responsibilities of a Custom Woodworker:

● Ability to set up, operate, and tend moulders, shapers, table saws, planers, and sanders

● Follows quality and safety standards

● Maintains shop equipment

● Operates woodworking hand tools

● Completes all stages of woodworking process to produce finished products

● Maintain a clean and orderly workspace

Custom Woodworker Job Requirements:

● High school degree or equivalent

● 3+ years’ experience in custom cabinetry, furniture making, architectural woodwork

● Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

● Proficiency with woodworking tools and equipment

● Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

● Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

● Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail

● Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical labor necessary

● Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
