Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and site activity, report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and document observations in accordance with site protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations by assisting with visitor interactions, following post orders, and/or adapting to changing conditions across indoor and outdoor environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
