Slingo Financial Services seeks a motivated, customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our small remote sales team and advance within the company. This role centers on helping individuals and families secure appropriate life and health coverage by engaging prospective clients, managing consultations, and guiding them through the application and policy issuance process. Successful candidates will be organized, communicative, and committed to delivering high-quality service while pursuing measurable performance goals and career growth.
- Primary responsibilities
- Initiate outreach to prospective clients and develop rapport to assess insurance needs.
- Explain life and health insurance products and recommend tailored coverage options aligned with client circumstances.
- Schedule and conduct client consultations via phone or virtual meetings; manage follow-up communications.
- Assist clients in completing applications and coordinate with underwriting and operations through policy issuance.
- Review existing coverage and recommend additional or adjusted policies when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Meet established performance targets and collaborate with the team to support organizational goals.
- Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current life and health insurance license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a client-first professional approach.
- Preferred qualifications and attributes
- Prior sales experience, ideally in insurance or financial services.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to a small team.
- Self-motivated, organized, goal-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain trusting client relationships.
