Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Senior MBSE Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Serve as architect for the implementation of the Government Reference Architecture (GRA) MBSE solution across the Targets Program office.

• Author process documents, develop template frameworks, and construct metric reporting methods to facilitate the execution of the MBSE solution to existing and future programs.

• Use requirements analysis to create and maintain the GRA in Cameo.

• Perform and lead systems engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs.

• Perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools.

• Define requirements, perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools.

• Other Duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects, or a Master's degree and 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects.

• Experience with Cameo SysML.

• Expert Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), preferably with direct experience working on DoD Systems.

• Ability to train others on MBSE concepts and tools.

• Experience with languages used for architecture modeling [i.e., DoD Architecture Framework and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)].

• Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with MDA programs and processes.

• Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems, or hypersonic weapons.

• Hands-on experience with integrated requirements tools, such as DOORS NG.

• Exposure to MDA test events and activities.
