Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for an experienced Document Control Tech Aide to fill a contract, onsite position in Eastaboga, Alabama. It is estimated to last 5 months’ duration. It is a temporary position.

Rates: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Local candidates preferred.

US Citizenship required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• 3 - 5+ years’ experience using small & large document scanners and plotters.
• This role will be onsite and specifically includes the scanning of small and large format drawings and data entry for capturing meta-data from drawings.
• Need to have some knowledge of records management processes and familiarity with engineering drawings.
• Leased workers must have some proficiency in using the MS Office Products such as Outlook and Excel.
• Must also have some working knowledge in using scanning and PDF software.
• Timekeeping utilizing company timekeeping system for yourself.
• Job role will require managing and handling of large drawings, that may be frail and delicate due to aging and could require the need to lift and move boxes.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
