Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Special Education teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience creating and delivering Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and interventions tailored to each student
- Track and report progress, maintaining detailed and compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
