About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the specialty License: Registered Nurse license (State license or Compact license required) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required Must-Have: Willingness to float to other units Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical Telemetry specialty. Candidates must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. This position may require working 36 or 48 hours per week, with holidays and every other weekend as needed. The unit is a 36-bed telemetry unit focused on diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory disorders. Nurses in this area will have a patient ratio of 1:6. High-quality, specialized care for patients and their families suffering from a variety of lung diseases or injuries is prioritized. The nursing team values collaborative relationships with various departments, including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy. This specialty requires a strong foundation in general medicine and expertise in respiratory skills. A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred; however, we will consider candidates with 18 months of experience, provided they have worked under the highest level of professional license and have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
