Risk Management
- Implement a comprehensive risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and controls.
- Identify potential risks across the organization, including internal and external factors, and assess their likelihood and
- potential impact.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, including risk avoidance, transfer, reduction, and
- acceptance.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk management controls and procedures, and report on risk exposures and trends to senior
- management.
- Advise leadership on risk exposures and strategic risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate risk management information and build consensus
- on risk mitigation strategies across IRES.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
- Prepare and present risk reports to leadership.
- Lead risk incident investigations and root cause analyses.
- Participate in program meetings to become familiar with program details, including terminology, points of view, operating
- constraints, issues and goals
- Facilitating IRES Director level RIO meetings as part of the IRES Program Review Board (PRB)
- Presenting program RIO information at formal reviews
- Keeping the IRES Program management team informed regarding current MDA RIO policies and policy documents

- DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in risk management
- Professional certifications are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive risk-informed decision-making.
