🔧 Skilled Service Technician – Main Shop

Voyles of Birmingham

Voyles of Birmingham is seeking an experienced and motivated Skilled Service Technician to join our Main Shop . This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in their craft, values efficiency and accuracy, and wants to continue growing in a high-volume, fast-paced dealership environment.

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and HVAC

• Perform warranty, recall, and customer-pay repairs efficiently and accurately

• Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards

• Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information systems

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management regarding repair status

• Proven experience as an automotive service technician

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to flag hours efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship

• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented mindset
