Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Measure and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality
• Adjust machine settings to achieve precise bends and tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a press brake or similar machinery preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, etc.)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/industrial setting
• Requires standing for long periods and handling metal materials
• May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures
