Description:Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for an Energetic student pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar degree for a 2026 Summer Internship.

The selected candidate will be learning and working with Software and System Engineers supporting software systems analysis the C2BMC program for the Missile Defense Agency.

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with experienced software and systems engineering professionals to analyze mission system performance
Develop and exercise data analysis tools (typically Python or MATLAB based)
Experience SAFe Agile Development integrated team environment
Network with Lockheed Martin professionals and other interns

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Basic Qualifications:

Pursuing degree in engineering or computer science related field (Electrical / Computer / Software), or engineering degree with focus in software related field
Working knowledge of any Programming language or tools such as JAVA / C / C++
Must possess good problem solving skills
Highly Motivated; able to perform team tasks with low direct supervision while utilizing virtual collaboration tools to interact with team
Desired Skills:
Able to work in a team environment (virtually or in-person)
Experience with Gitlab
Specific Python and MATLAB experience
Experience in data analysis of software applications
Test Automation interest
DevSecOps Interest
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
