Line Operator - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Tier One Supplier to Hyundai and KIA is seeking Line Operators to join their team!!

$14.00 to start with a raise to $16.00 upon permanent hire.

All shifts available.

1st shift - 07:00 AM TO 04:00 PM or until done Monday through Friday

2nd shift - 04:00 PM TO 01:00 AM or until done Monday through Friday

3rd shift - 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM or until done Sunday through Thursday

SUMMARY: Responsible for packing/scanning/shipping harnesses accurately and in a timely manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect totes for damage and trash. Remove all old labels from returning totes.
• Responsible for scanning parts for inventory purposes.
• Check for accurate labels on totes before placing on conveyor.
• Scan and Pack wire harnesses into various totes/boxes as required.
• Visually verify all harnesses in the tote with part numbers on pick sheet (if used) and label.
• Coordinate line side stock levels with Supervisor and/or forklift driver.
• Re-fill label stock in label printers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
• Acute attention to detail.
• You must be over 18

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Lift and move a minimum of 70 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Constant repetitive motion while scanning/lifting parts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are cool and noise level can be moderate to high.
