Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification appropriate for the assigned grade levels (K-8)
• Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
• Familiarity with multi-needs and Behavioral Intervention Program (BIP) strategies
• Adaptability to work with diverse student populations and learning abilities
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
• Previous classroom experience in special education highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct, differentiated instruction to students in either multi-needs or BIP units
• Collaborate with educational teams including general educators, paraeducators, and related service providers
• Utilize a variety of strategies and interventions to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student progress and needs
• Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
