MAC Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

Our Veterinary Assistants play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by supporting appointments, preparing for surgeries, assisting with treatments for hospitalized pets, and delivering comprehensive client education. This position is ideal for those new to the field and eager to learn, as we offer thorough training. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply!

This position is open to part-time or full-time. Full-time schedule is 3 10-hour days, 2 half-days (one being Saturday). Two Saturdays per month are required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive pay: $12 - $15/hour **for each hour worked (based on experience)

Required qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Client Communication
  • Restraint
  • Outpatient procedures
  • Scribe/patient notes
