Spur, a digital staffing agency , is seeking punctual and professional Aides for Albertville City Schools .

Position Overview

The Aide plays a vital role in supporting teachers and staff to create a positive and effective learning environment for students. The schedule follows the school’s standard hours , though some districts may offer additional opportunities outside regular hours, which are not guaranteed .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and classroom setup.
• Help in planning and organizing group and individual activities.
• Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional periods.
• Provide individual and group instructional support to reinforce learning.
• Offer enrichment and remedial assistance as needed.
• Assist with testing and student progress evaluation .
• Encourage positive interactions in the learning environment.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• A friendly and approachable attitude.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills .
• Ability to adapt to different classroom settings.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Proof of High School Diploma or GED document

Qualifications

• Must obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00).
• Must obtain a Substitute License throught the State of Alabama
• Completion of MCS Training (provided at no cost by Spur).
• Required online training .
• Must have either 48 college crdit hours / Associates degree or higher / ACT Workkeys

Compensation & Schedule

• $15.00 per hour .
• Work hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (varies by location).
