• Unit Size: 42 beds, typical ratios 1:6–1:7

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570–$1,650/week

Job Requirements (Med/Surg RN)

• Active Alabama RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience in a large healthcare facility (medical surgical nurse experience required)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with telemetry monitoring; administration and monitoring of chemotherapy; managing/accessing ports preferred
• Must reside outside a 90-mile radius from Dothan, AL (travel nurse eligibility)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions for COVID-19 only)
• Travel nursing experience preferred, but strong candidates with significant Med/Surg experience will be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med/Surg unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
• Utilize telemetry and manage chemotherapy administration and port access as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and others
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in self-scheduling and provide weekend coverage as required
• Support rapid response and ensure patient safety at all times
