Responsibilities

As the Flexographic Printing Production Supervisor, you will oversee all daily activities of the Flexo Press Department, ensuring that scheduling is maintained and materials are available to meet on-time completion requirements. This leadership role involves the direct supervision of both hourly and salaried employees, including managing performance evaluations, discipline, and vacation scheduling. You will be responsible for tracking department production across various timelines while managing cost-saving initiatives to improve overall profitability. Collaboration is key, as you will coordinate with other department managers and step in for shift supervisors when necessary to maintain seamless operations. Safety is a top priority, and you must strictly adhere to and enforce all company safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). By utilizing the Weekly Job Schedule, you will work to increase production capabilities and provide accurate weekly reports on direct labor usage. You are also tasked with maintaining equipment in good operating condition and ensuring that the department follows the established chain of command. Ultimately, your goal is to foster a strong team environment through excellent communication and the efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
