Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a certified SLP in a welcoming environment near Alabaster, AL. This position offers the chance to work collaboratively across one or more schools (depending on caseload), partnering with staff to make a meaningful difference in students’ communication development throughout the school year. The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering a structured schedule of 28 hours per week across 4-5 days.

Qualifications:

• Current, active SLP license valid in Alabama
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• ALSDE SLP Certification
• Experience supporting elementary students in school settings highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy services as needed for elementary-age students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor students’ progress
• Collaborate with other professionals and staff to deliver comprehensive support
• May travel between multiple school sites depending on caseload
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings as required
