Job Title: Operations Clerk II
Location: Irondale AL 35210
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, From 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay rate: USD $25.00 per hour
Contract Type: TTH
The Operations Clerk II is responsible for data analysis and cleansing, assisting with accounts receivable, supporting administrative and operational branch functions, and ensuring timely and accurate business processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and the ability to work across multiple business units to address documentation, billing, and customer issues. Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with comparable experience
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently research and resolve discrepancies while meeting deadlines
- Solid user of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
- ERP experience required
- Experience with Field Service or CRM applications (MS Field Service or MS CRM)
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Analyze and cleanse data, review and resolve accounts receivable issues
- Create orders for quoted jobs/installations in SAP, ensuring order accuracy
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, including non-routine tasks
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to meet needs and expectations
- Review and action flagged purchase orders for compliance
- Ensure documentation, billing, invoicing, and payments are accurate and timely
- Resolve issues from 3rd-party processors and support multiple business units
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all organizational procedures
- Strong organizational skills and ability to execute tasks autonomously
- High standards for results-driven performance, continuous learning, and teamw
