Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school located in Bessemer, AL is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position running from August 6, 2025, to May 23, 2026. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized speech services to a diverse Special Education student population across multiple school sites.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to students in grades K-12.
• Manage a caseload of 40-60 students, ensuring individualized treatment plans meet student needs.
• Collaborate with educational staff and parents to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
• Travel between multiple school sites within the district.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Alabama SLP license.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY), or School SLP credential required.
• Experience providing speech services to Special Education students preferred.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and adapt to diverse student needs.
